As the name implies, this low-intensity dog-walking/socialization group is especially geared for mellow dogs that like to walk and “meet ‘n’ greet” a little (i.e., not ideal for power walkers or those built for speed). Sometimes our big dogs have a hard time keeping friends! We know they just want to play, but the other dogs in the park think they are just too big! We'll meet as often as people want to in dog parks. Perhaps we could invite guest speakers, have training information sessions from behavior specialists, share resources of places that will accept our gentle giants (or not so gentle when they are puppies), perhaps share dog sitting. Beagle Paws is an animal rescue society working with..... Beagles! We run a meet up group which is typically held on the last Sunday of each month at Southland Offleash Dog Park commencing at 3PM. The group is for anyone with a beagle (full or partial breeding) who would like to come out and join us for some exercise and the opportunity to meet other beagle lovers.
